Cancellation, Substitution
and Refund Policy
when booking events and workshops
When you purchase a place you
have made a formal agreement to attend the event/workshop,
TrainerBase will reserve space for you accordingly. To
protect us from losses from non-attendance e.g. the cost of
hiring the venue and preparing materials, cancellation fees
apply as detailed below.
All requests for refunds and
substitutions must be made by e-mail to:
info@trainerbase.co.uk
All refunds are subject to a
Processing Fee of £20, thereafter refunds will be given
according to the following schedule:
Refund requests received more
than 28 working days before the event/workshop, qualify for
50% of the event fee less £20 Processing Fee;
Refund requests received less
than 28 working days before the event/workshop, do not
qualify for a refund.
Provided reasonable notice is given a request can be made
for the registration to be transferred to a named individual
(the substitute) by e-mailing info@trainerbase.co.uk. There
is no charge.
Programme Changes and
Cancellation by TrainerBase:
It may be necessary for
reasons beyond our control to make changes to the workshop
or event programme, timing or presenters. In some
circumstances we may cancel a workshop or event. This could
be because of a key presenter becoming unavailable, serious
transport difficulties or a lack of participants. If we do
cancel, we will refund what you have paid us, but we will
not be liable for any other costs you may have incurred,
such as travel or accommodation costs.
